By using a laser, this procedure helps people who are nearsighted, farsighted or have astigmatism. A common symptom of LASIK eye surgery is severe dry eyes. Though most of the time the symptom will come and go after a few weeks. For some cases, it's more serious and may affect your vision after LASIK surgery.

Submitted by administrator on Wed, 10/21/2009 - 16:15Any surgical procedure involves danger, risk, and potentially fatal results. This is also the case with Lasik eye surgery. Before you even speak with a physician, do the research. Understand all the dangers of Lasik eye surgery and be willing to accept them (assuming you are still interested in undergoing the surgery). If you are unwilling to accept the dangers of Lasik eye surgery, then consider an alternative solution such as getting glasses or contacts. Or, merely wait and be patient until the time comes that you feel comfortable undergoing Lasik eye surgery.
