Lasik is an outpatient procedure and only takes around ten to fifteen seconds per eye. After this is finished, you will notice the drastic change in your eyesight, for the better. Although you can see much better already, you are still not out of the danger zone. Most problems that arise are due to complications after the procedure. The surgeon will provide you with eye protectors to wear for a while, and instructions on how to care for your eyes until they are completely healed.
After this is over, you should have much better eyesight and can normally resume your lifestyle. You will need to come back to your eye doctor for check ups.
Before undergoing any procedure, make sure you understand everything in complete detail. When choosing a Lasik Eye Surgeon, check to make sure he is board certified and that there are not any complaints logged against him or his clinic.
